WELCOME TO THE CENTER FOR CONNECTED MEDICINE

The Center for Connected Medicine presents a real world vision for reforming health care by integrating technology throughout the continuum of care. Health care and business leaders from around the country and world come to the Center for Connected Medicine to be informed, inspired, and engaged in a new vision of health care.

Here, visitors experience firsthand, the possibilities of an interconnected health care environment - a system that shares medical information among health care equipment, providers, institutions, and patients, while safeguarding each patient's right to privacy. Demonstrated through real life scenarios, visitors experience how this technology is applied and integrated and follow its impact through a variety of simulated settings. These demonstrations give visitors a better understanding of the benefits of a connected environment and help them to see how connected medicine can be encompassed in every part of health care.

The Center for Connected Medicine provokes new insights and methods for reinventing organizations to dramatically improve patient outcomes and experiences while reducing costs. The Center for Connected Medicine enables visitors to:

• Observe state-of-the-art, integrated IT infrastructure and software applications that fundamentally change the health care delivery model.
• Participate in simulated hospital environments in which there are improvements in patient outcomes and reduced costs associated with health care.
• Discover strategies for attacking the skyrocketing costs associated with disconnected care.
